Edel is a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV).
Edel was elected onto the Balbriggan Chamber of Commerce executive committee in 2015 and became a director of this committee. She is committed to helping other businesses succeed in the area and also enhancing the town of Balbriggan.
Being the only female on this committee, Edel decided to launch a “women in business” group, namely NFWIB (North Fingal Women in Business) along with three other local businesswomen. This was formed in 2016, and it is a social platform where businesswomen can meet, learn and share their experience and challenges with other like-minded women in business.
In 2015, EMG Property Consultants acquired a corner commercial unit on the main street of Balbriggan. Edel was determined to make a mark on the local property scene and is committed to serving the people of North County Dublin for the future.
